Outdoor skating returns to Memorial Park December 15

The Memorial Park skating loop will open for another season on Monday, December 15 (weather permitting). City of Hamilton staff will maintain the ice surface until 10pm each day, while the overhead lights will remain on until 11pm.

In addition to the loop at Memorial Park in Waterdown, the City also maintains outdoor ice surfaces at the Freelton Community Park, the Dundas Driving Park, and the Bernie Morelli Recreation Centre (near Hamilton Stadium).

Outdoor ice rinks are weather dependent. During extended periods of above 0-degree temperatures, rain, etc., ice conditions may force the loop to close temporarily.
