New Recreation Centre public meeting October 6

The City of Hamilton is building a new Community Recreation Centre & Pool in Waterdown. Staff will be sharing design concepts with residents at a public information centre (PIC) on October 6 at 6pm inside Harry Howell Arena, in the lower Community Room.

The City has already conducted several rounds of public consultation on rec centre design feature and amenities, collected through online survey and a public meeting in Waterdown last spring. Taking that feedback into account, the October 6 PIC will present display boards showing the concept design, the site plan, facility layouts, and 3D renderings. Staff from the Recreation Department will be available throughout the evening to answer questions, discuss the design, and hear directly from community members. The primary goal is to gather meaningful community feedback on the concept design as it stands

Following the PIC on October 6, the concept design will be made available on the Engage Hamilton page, where the broader community will have an opportunity to review the design and provide additional feedback online.
