It’s Supie Season!

‍Supies will operate in Hamilton parks between June 29 and August 28

The Supie program, now in its 117th year of operation, offers free, drop-in activities during the summer for children at neighbourhood parks across the city. Programming varies based on participants in attendance and weather, and may include active games, crafts, circle games, or use of equipment/supplies.

Supies will operate across Hamilton from June 29 through August 28. Both Memorial Park and Gatesbury Park in Waterdown will host the Supie program Monday to Friday, from 10am to 3pm all summer long.

‍Children should bring the following to a Supie day: healthy snacks, refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, running shoes/athletic sandals (not flip flops). Supie staff do not replace parent/guardian supervision, as this isn’t a day camp. Rather, children join or leave activities as they wish!

All programs are free of charge, and basic information (name, age, phone number) will be collected on site. Programming is weather dependent, and all efforts will be made to adjust activities before cancelling. The Supie program will not be offered on July 17, July 31, or during weather events.More info can be found online at hamilton.ca/supie.
