Community Recreation Centre Feedback Survey

The online survey is open through May 30

The City of Hamilton is embarking on the design and development of new a Community Recreation Centre in Waterdown. Having already hosted public info sessions to present an initial vision and garner feedback, the City has now moved into a public consultation phase. At this time, the City is collecting residents’ specific opinions about a new Rec Centre, via this online survey.

The survey is designed to engage residents, community groups and partners to gather information on a range of topics, including vision and guiding principles related to Community Recreation Centre development, design elements, key facility features for inclusion in new the facility, spatial needs, accessibility features within community spaces, participation behaviours, and barriers to accessing recreation.

Please take a few minutes to help shape Waterdown’s new recreation facility. The results of this survey will be used for the purposes of prioritizing Community Recreation Centre design and development needs and priorities, and will be used along with other inputs to develop recommendations that will be considered by the City of Hamilton.

This survey is intended for Hamilton residents aged 16 years and older. Please only complete one survey per household. The survey will be available until May 30.
